Volt Meter not working at dash

i have a 2007 270 with the Faria multigauge in the middle of my dash.
We took her out for the first ride of the 2016 season and the volt meter is reading 0 on an analog gauge.
all the batteries are either new or 1 year old and everything went fine for the weekend except the gauge.
i pulled the dash and checked the connections and everything is tight.
its as if the volt meter is unplugged???
all the other gauges are working fine.
can anyone point me in the direction to track this down?

All gauges are very susceptible to loose wires on them (the back of the gauge), particularly the ground. If I had a $ for every time that was the case on one of my boats!

i checked that first when i pulled the dash but everything is snug at the helm.

Using a handheld multimeter, check to see if in fact the signal to the voltmeter is there at the voltmeter then go from there.

Use the multimeter to check. It should be the Purple wire that comes from the engine compartment that give you the VDC signal.

finally narrowed it down to the Faria Multi gauge.

I don't have an answer for you, but I bet they will be proud of it!  The link to the pic worked.  I've just uploaded the pic straight to the forum- no hosting.

@vquad I am told that Faria gauges have lifetime warranties. I would try calling them first off

FYI...Faria wont sell directly and boaters world wants $300.00.
I found a brand new one in the box with a warranty for $113.00 shipped from "great lakes skipper" out of Wisconsin.
