New strainer

upgraded to the Forespar T-150 strainer and new hoses. The hoses were badly cracked from tight radius turns. Something to watch for!

    I need, and the list just seems to get longer, replace mine. I have from what I have been told, the same aluminum one that searay uses. There us a drain plug on it and it completely corroded. No leaks yet but its on the list. I never could figure out the gallons per minute or however they are rated...

    The T-150 has 1.5" inlet/outlets, so it more than covers the OEM one I had. Plus I raised it up, it was a pita to get to before as it was way low in the bilge.

    Oh Yeah! I installed that baby last year - for an alternate installation posting se forum archives. Also gotta love the snap-in bracket for the whole assembly.

    BTW BD - if you find the strainer mesh holes let too much debris in for your area Forespar makes strainer meshes with finer mesh pattern. I bought a second one of finer hole pattern.
