gauge problem

I have a 2002 Rinker 250...The center gauge with the fuel, voltage, temp, oil does not work....Mechanics have worked on this problem without success....They changed the tach, checked the main harness etc....Has anyone had this problem?

They will need to check if there is power and ground to the gauge. If this is good I would not think all the sender wires are bad for the 4 functions of the gauge, so that would lead me to believe the gauge is bad.

Hey Capt Steve,... My tach started turning all the way to pinned when the motor is running now.. would this be a sign that my signal wire may need attention, or is this how tachs sometimes go bad?

browncbrt the stock gauges are really a problem. The gauge pinning is a sign that its starting to go bad. My guess is that its made by fuaria (spelling) I am pretty sure they have a lifetime warranty. Just send it back and they will repair/replace it.

Thanks Steve, I will have the marina check it out.....Has anyone had this dial with the 4 gauges replaced and what does the part cost?
