mooring cover snaps
![rasbury](https://us.v-cdn.net/5020499/uploads/userpics/214/nECEMRSMUG6SB.jpg)
as mentioned in another thread, I bought a used cover from a forum member and all is good with it, just have a lot of snaps to add to the cover! My old one snapped along the top edge window frame- this one goes over the top and will fasten along the bottom of the window-somewhere. I have to add the snaps but not sure where- should they be put on the bottom edge of the window frame or into the fiberglass past the edge of the window frame?

Does the window frame have slots to install snaps? Once in they slide to the correct position. No need to drill holes.2008 330EC -

I will look, there is a rubber trim, perhaps it covers up a slot..im having a heck of a time finding plane snaps...much less something like what your describing! My other snaps on the window are screwed in. -

Well, stand corrected, there are slots for the snaps but only at the top. There is a very wide slot along the bottom, it's pretty deep and holds trim, more of a channel. I did not wants snaps where the front glass opens to step or trip on...any other way, drilling gel coat I don't like.
