Boat AC/Heat - Marine AIRRRRRRR

I was trying to switch from AC to heat this weekend and I couldn't get it to go. I have posted a picture of my control below which is the "Legacy" control. Can anyone tell me how to turn it to heat? Maybe I don't have a reversing valve whic means no heat? I am stumped. Any help would be sweet.

jme097 I have the same control's and I pretty much leave it on auto to maintain the temperature I want.  To turn on I push the on/off button right about the fan button.  Then I adjust the temp I want with the up and down arrows.  If it needs heat to get to temp it turns on the heat...if it needs AC it switches to AC.

Make sure your seacock is open and that there isn't any air lock in it...the control will display ERRXXX if it can't get any water.  You might have a separate valve you can open to clear out any air bubbles.

There are advanced controls for programming ect...that I haven't used much.

Thanks @skennelly. I have tried pushing it on and off but cannot get it to switch from cooling. I have also raised the set point to 80 and got no action. I am starting to think either I dont have a reversing valve or I have an issue with the control.

Page 9 of the document Skennelly sent is what you need.  Holding the power button on for a few seconds will get you to those settings and make sure the P-1 is on auto (0), which will give you both.

@jme097 ha ha...we are in a similar boat.  This is my first full season and I'm learning new things every time on the boat.

Mine switches from cooling to heat automatically. The other night it was cycling between heat and cool because of the quirky temps that we are having.

You will have a reversing valve for sure. This is needed to create the heat then cold. The valves can get stuck from time to time but I think you just have a simple programming adjustment. Maybe a year ago I scanned and posted the entire trouble shooting guide and codes for marine Air. you should be able to access that from the forum archives. good luck.

Once you get the unit running, be sure to check out humidity mode. It cycles the unit a few times a day to keep the moisture down in the cabin. I use it when I leave the boat for the week.

@Cableguy Greg What exactly should I check out? Once I get this thing figured out, I am definitely going to be leaving it run when I am not there. I know for sure my temp sensor is off so I need to adjust that as well

When I leave for the week, I press the power button at the same time as the temp down button. It puts the system in humidity mode. It cycles the unit off and on. It doesn't keep the cabin ice cold, just takes the moisture out of the air. The manual calls it "Moisture Mode".

Can anybody share a copy of the manual. When I try to find the site, it says it unavailable, or has been removed, etc. Would be a good item to have for new owners of older craft.
