Cockpit table mounting flange

I am hoping this is an easy one. Perhaps a link from The Great Boomer within the hour. I have a 2005 270 that I bought used. It came with the pole for the cockpit table but no table (actually two poles, one for the V-berth table and one for the missing cockpit table I assume). The factory table is kind of crummy as I have read. So I am looking to make a custom hardwood one but need the mounting flange. My searches haven't come up with the right one. Any suggestions where to buy it? Thanks a bunch guys and gals.

I'd be interested too but for a grill mount on the swim platform, I've seen some on this site but some guidance would be appreciated.  I don't want to hijack the thread but I think they are the same mounts.

They are different mounts. The BBQ mount actual screws in and locks in place, the table one just drops in. For the table, there are different mounting types. On my Rinker I have a the tapered pole sure fit, Most replacement tables use the rubber tapered mount. The sure fit will go in maybe a half inch on the rubber tapered mount. Post a picture of your mount and pole.

it is the tapered variant for sure. I will run down this weekend and snap a picture of the floor receiver and pole. I will see what measurements I can also.

Try going to local camping dealer or van conversion I've seen them at a place around here called Stuff for Trucks & Vans for an example' If not Overton's has several

Hey folks. So I think I found the right mount for the factory system. All of the others weren't quite the right diameter. I suppose they design it that way so you have to buy from them. A number of friends have found different table post support rings at Overton's 1-800-334-6541. They have a "ring" that looks very similar to the one that Rinker installs for its galley table. It is pn 76714  There are a whole bunch of tables etc. on page 69 of the 2013 Overton's catalogue. As well, West Marine has some table and ring parts on page 705 of their 2013 catalogue. That said, I might start with Rinker - have you considered contacting Cindy Scott at Rinker (parts) 1-574-457-5731, I bet she can get the part for you. Good luck.

We have a 350 Rinker and had been looking for a new cockpit table as well.  We finally installed a new one this weekend with the help of a friend.  We purchased the following from the Springfield Dent section on their website - Our friend had the drill but we needed to purchase the 3- 1/2 die cut for the floor base.

BriteEyes I have a 330 and want to do the same upgrade. Can you supply the dimensions of your new table. Also were you able to use the same mount at the plastic table and the pedestal. If not what upgrade did you need to make.

We ordered the flange/mount from Springfield - and also ordered the 30 inch pole (from iboats I believe)

Stowable Table Mount @ $10.70 = $10.70

1 Stowable Table Floor Base @ $13.75 = $13.75   (needed the 3 1/2 whole saw to drill into the floor)  we left the other mount from the plastic table.  (we wanted the table alittle taller then the normal 27 inch pole ) and moved it alittle in so the table could be centered.

5 coats of Teak Oil and it looks awesome

I would recommend to order atleast the stowable table mount and then see if you can still use your same pole and mount.  You could also try one of the poles in the cabin as I believe it might be 30 inches as well - so play with what you have first before purchasing the extra pole and floor base mount.  Good luck!

I am going to try and post a pic. Type ur message and then click on attach a file at bottom left under diolog box and get the file from ur hard drive. We will see if that works.

copy the direct link in photobucket paste the link in insert image on the dashboard above it will appear

Looks like it worked just like I said. Its real easy and don't need imageshack or photobucket.

Several folks have also been able to post thumbnails (screenshots) directly in the posting box.

The only difference is the picture is larger when using direct link you don't have to click on the image to make it bigger. We're all learning new thing about this system everyday.
