Waterline and boot stripes 320EC

Never liked boot stripes where the transom end is in the water or under bottom paint, and the bow end is a foot out of the water.  Here's my spring project after soda blast, stripping the Rinker stripes, 3 coats of Sea Hawk Tuff Stuff Epoxy barrier, 2 coats Sea Hawk VMG, and fresh custom boot stripes.

@itzken - beautiful job!....100% agreement with you I could NEVER figure out why some boats - AND  a few manufacturers of real expensive cruisres would have 3 sets of lines running in different directions. Always looked cr*ppy to me.

Nice job!  Hopefully I'll be floating next week and see how my new paint line looks. I eliminated the boot stripe.

I also store my boat in the butler building. Well not this one yet but my old dancer was there. Rinker is going there this fall.
i love that option of having no shrink and being able to work on it in any weather.

@BD, that looks real clean, IMO. Classic Black and White, never goes out of style, IMO. I like that you have put the bottom coat nice and high at the aft/transom. The big boats tend to sit aft down a bit.

@Black_Diamond Looks good.  Something just tweaked me the wrong way with the factory bootstripe vs. the actual waterline.

Hey I finally found Sea Esta!  I  used to be on that side in 424 but moved when the water got low maybe 12 years ago.   I was fine with my 31 as long as I could keep the pulpit over the seawall, but once the water went down, I couldn't get on my boat from the stern access door.  Looking forward to a cocktail!
