Temp gauge help needed

Advice needed please as temp gauge not working? I've changed the Faria multi gauge and I've just changed the temp sender on the engine see pic. Still not working  Is there another sensor?

The temp sensor is near the themostat housing, its a single wire. to test it you can ground it out and see if your gauge goes to max. I am sure you could also pull it and test the resistance with a multimeter.

you will have to get some long extenders on your multi-meter, but I would just check for continuity between the wires at the sensor and the wires to the dash.
