Underwater light performance in the Chesapeake Bay watershed

Can anyone comment on the performance of their underwater lights in the Chesapeake Bay watershed?  If so, please include the make, model, color, and quantity of lights that you use.  I am thinking of installing some lights but I have read that the murky water of the Chesapeake renders underwater lights nearly useless. Most of my boating is in the northern rivers (Elk, Bohemia, and Sassafras).  Thanks in advance!

I use Seablaze Spectrum-X RGB lights.   I have 4 mounted across the transom about 4" under the waterline.

In slightly murky water the green outshines all other colors. Red is the least visible. Blue falls in between.    The clearer the water the better the red and blue will stand out.   Its nice having the color changing, as I can switch it the colors according to water conditions or my mood.

    Good luck

Just don't go any further south.  You are in the cleanest water in the bay.  I haven't really seen any lights I've been impressed with.
