The one thing bad about trailers...

is they are trailers aren't they? I thought I was doing pretty well with mine, no heating up on the wheels I can determine which I thought would be a pretty good "physical" for the trailer condition. I have two pretty new tires, front two on both sides has really bad wear and chunking of the outer tread. How are these axles aligned? I would think if the axle were off, I would have opposing tire wear (inside of one, outside of the other). I don't see any damage that the axle hit something on either side.....what is up with this?

I would also say I have purposely loaded heavier to the front so I have better traction at the ramp, but, did not think I was over loaded. Not sure where I could get that tongue weight done to determine if I need to push the boat back some. As far as turns, I can kind of feel it when I turn like I'm dragging those tires around a corner. I had heard, more on tri axle trailers this being an issue for turning as you turn, the wheels are not turning at the same rate and you did wear the tires differently. I have not rotated the tires and I really have not driven that far on these. Maybe 500 miles or so? They look really messed up for the use they have had. We have a big trailer place in town, perhaps I need to get the boat off the trailer and to then to look at.
