2000 FV 270 dimmer module part number
Hello all, Just upgraded from a 96 FV 266 to the 2000 FV 270.
When I turn the navigation light switch on I hear an alternating "humming" sound coming from the switch panel on the right and I watch my voltmeter drop from 12 to 10.5 volts. The humming stops and the voltmeter goes back to 12.
While this is occurring, my vhf radio is cycling on and off and the "low battery" message appears just before the vhf cycles.
So I began "hunting" and came across a yellow cylinder about 2 inches long an inch wide with a 4 wire connector at the top. Power seems to come from the navigation light switch. Grabbing hold of the module, I could feel the vibration start and stop, and the module was getting warm. I assume this is the dimmer module discussed in other threads??
There are no part numbers stamped on the cylinder. Does anyone have/know of the correct part number to order, and while the module is on order, how do I "jump" the connector to allow lights on my helm?
Thanks
NickT

That's what I have on my 2007 370. GLS has them in stock. If you want to figure out how to jump it, check the schematic here:

Good luck!
