2003 232. engine access

What is the best way to access the front of the engine? Do I have to remove seat/floor panel?

    Well I need to check my distributor timing. I think it's off a tooth. So I want to see the balancer timing mark when I put it on #1 TDC. Also want to check the sea pump impeller.
