TV cabinet door reinforcement

If I hit some decent chop or wake the cabinet door will fly open due to weight of the mounted TV and the latch not holding. Has anyone modified or reinforced theirs by adding something additional like a bolt latch, etc? Would love to hear about it or see pics. Thx!

I have an 09 320 with the same door. I shimmed up the bottom part of the latch (the part on the door jam) by placing one very small washer between the latch and the jam around each screw. You can't see the washers because they are under the latch. My door opens with no additional effort when operated but stays closed in rough water.
