Mercathode Wire not connected

SpacelordSpacelord Member Posts: 20 ✭✭
Last fall I noticed that the red-purple wire on my Mercathode was not connected to anything.
Could someone tell me where that is supposed to connect to?
According to the Mercathode manual its the power.. but I cannot find any wire that it came lose from.  It still has a wire splice.
I spent some time searching again today.

I have a 2005 270FV.

Thanks.

The Mercathode is supposed to be powered all the time the battery is connected.  So, either connect directly to battery B+ or to the sector switch side which is direct to the battery.  The Mercathode has it's own fuse and fuse holder.  Al

yeah, I kinda figured that.. but I cannot find the wire that i was hooked to.  The wire still connected to the Mercathode is not even a foot long.   I will look again.. maybe along with the black wire?  but I swear I followed that wire hose and didn't see a red one in there.
