Tampa St Pete Rinker 290/310 Cruiser owners?

I am considering purchasing a new Rinker 290 or 310 Cruiser, but I really need to see one in person. Unfortunately, there are no showrooms around here. Any Rinker owners in the Tampa St Pete Florida area willing to show me their boat, preferably a 1-3 year old boat, I am willing to pay for your time.

I looked very carefully at the 2013 models EC 290 and EC 310. I decided if I was going to but the EC 290 it would be with the big engine . For 2013 that would have been a 502. I don't know if any earlier models came with a 496 but if I had a choice the 502 is a much better engine, far more sophisticated. On the suggestion of a long time friend who was also a salesman we looked at the 2013 EC 310. We made an offer that afternoon. the forward berth, the mid berth flex steel couch that pulls out into a bed and the roomy rear berth were very attractive but what crushed all other competition - even the 290 was the room. the cockpit area was FAR bigger than the 290 and the size of the cabin was far, far better - a lot more headroom, storage and width. the icing on the cake was the twin 350 magnums (the only engine I'd buy although I've heard the 5.o liters will "do"). The extra beam, length and the twins make for a true cruiser (EC310) instead of just a big sport boat (EC290).  The EC 310 is one of the best boats I have ever owned. I loved it. On this forum @gtyee purchased it from the man who purchased it from the dealer I traded it in to in September 2014.

I did that to purchase a 2014 EC 360. I am 6'6" tall and should have bought the ec360 in 2013 as I needed the room all along and thought I could "make do".

Please choose carefully. Don't make my mistake. Get the bigger boat. the EC 310 is in a whole new league compared to the EC290. it can handle much bigger water comfortably, handles like a sports car, the twin 350 mags use fuel efficient (even more so than 5.0 liters as they work far less hard) the inter size of the 310 puts the 290 to shame and IF you get Axius with the EC 310 you will have the unlimited joy of joystick docking.

check on boat trader too- that's how I found my first one to look at and it was right around the corner from me to my surprise!

Thanks for the info. I am definitely looking for a 33' boat, so I will focus on the 310.

Jut found out the 2017 310/320 might be named the 330, since it is 33 feet long. This matches the LOA naming convention used by other makes.
