That is used to activate the shore power port at the rear of the boat, or closest to that switch. If you are not using that shore power point, leave the switch off.

On my boat it control all AC power. If it is off, no shore power or generator power.
Actually, that might be the same on the 260, I have a separate breaker for Port shore power in the cabin, my starboard would not work until I flipped Line 1 to "on".
I do wonder if this switch is related to Lady Dana's earlier post about a dead battery...
