Some speakers are not working

When I took my boat out of heated storage this year, only 4 of the 8 speakers and the sub-woofer were not working. I had the marina look at it and they said that a channel must be blown on one of the Clarion amplifiers. However, they seem to "crackle" on and off from time to time. Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong and where I should start my troubleshooting?

Do you have the manual? There are 3 rcas all together on the back of that head. The manual clearly tells you which outputs are for the aux and which are outputs for he sub/amp. Make sure that is right. After that remove the starboard storage compartment under the v birth to reveal two nice looking clarion amps. I also had some odd static Issues that I resolved by adjusting the gains on the amps. Perhaps you need adjustments or perhaps there are wires that came loose? Working with the Amps should help you troubleshoot before you replace an amp.07' Cruisers 390 (Previous Rinker's: 06' 342EC & 01' 310FV)
