Just bought this boat and put in the water, after 3 days in checked today and about 4"- 6" of water in hull .. also don't seam like the bulge pump cuts in automatic? also cant realy see the pump under the engine...... also have ordered new combo gauge due to reason temp is up and will not come down , then you have a audio alarm that keeps going off... any suggestions for these issues
Thanks

I know on my 242 it's located too far forward and will not kick on until there's a good amount of water in it. Try to find your float switch and activate it by hand. If your bilg pump goes on when you lift the float you know the system is working and the float is in the wrong location. Luckily my bilge has been dry this season. When I had water in it it was from a leaky bellows.2008 330EC

Water could be coming in through the drain plug. Did you install the drain plug with Teflon tape and or pipe dope?
If the alarm starts when the engine is cold but stops after it heats up then drive lube is the first thing to check. -
