control panel not working until boat is back on plane

Ive never had any trouble but tonight when i went to turn on the blower nothing would turn on nav lights, horn, engine hatch, ect. All the switches would not work.  Then after about a min. running the boat the switches come back on.  Anyone know what could cause this.  First cabin cruiser that i've owner so i'm new to this.  It's a 06 300 Fiesta Vee.  Thank you.

    Sounds like a bad connection in the helm dash. I would take the dash apart where the switches are and check all the harness plugs and ground connections.

    dead battery?  there wasn't enough juice until the alternator started charging the battery, just guessing here.  Raybo is more likely correct...
