Here in the DC area, Monday's going to be a washout ... all-day rain totaling two inches or more.  

Sunday looks nice, and we're hoping to finish our July 3rd Parade of Lights before the rain starts!

Hope Monday's forecast changes, I am suppose to see fireworks by boat down in CB.

My yacht club has been doing a parade of lights for the past 12 years.  It's not a huge deal -- usually 10-15 boats.  It's really just an excuse to take some friends boating at night, and chatter on the radios like a bunch of boy scouts.  I always end up leading the parade because I have the best nav electronics.

I've been told it looks really cool to cars driving on the GW Parkway.

I wish I would be on the lake for Chicago's fireworks but good Ole chicago is only having it Monday night when I have to work tuesday.

We'll be anchoring out tonight on the Rhode River to watch some fireworks.  We were planning on seeing some last night at Herrington Harbor, but too much rain.

Patrick, looks like we are going to have a rainy 4th for sure.  Enjoy today and tomorrow.
