thoughts on 290 fv with the twin 4.3mpi

i see a couple advertised with these motors
are they enough power
are they a good reliable motor
maintenance,upkeep etc

The 4.3s are fine for the 290.  The 280 has a single engine just as a comparison.  I'm sure, as others will mention, the more power the better.  The 290 is one of the smallest that still has twins.
