Water between teak wood and swim platform

PO put teak wood(faux maybe) and at the edges it looks as if the caulk is worn away.  When I step on the teak water and air bubbles come out.  I am nervous about this have caused damage or causing damage.  Does not seem soft.  1) Do I just let it dry out and then caulk? 2) Seen numerous marine caulks you guys have mentioned, some say 4200.  Anyone know what is best?  I am in a covered slip which helps.  Thanks for the help.

Here's a few, you can see where the water is.  After a week I came back and stepped at that same spot and water came out so its defenetly sitting there causing trouble.

I'm thinking that maybe you should trim where the faux teak bends up. Trim it so it will lay flat at the front of the platform then reseal it down.

I think that that aero is right the bend is putting stress on your caulking and looking at yours pictures the caulking is not in good shape

It looks like the swim platform bends up, so that is why the teak is bent up. I agree with what the others have said, trim it back and reseal. I would use 3M4000. @Alswagg might be able to suggest the same or different sealant.

The teak just follows the swim platform design and fits perfect.  I see in the photo how it looks like it's bent up but it's not. It just needs to be resealed.

If you just re-seal how are going to remove the water that is trap there, not a good idea to have water trap there. Just my opinion.

I did some research on the difference between 3M 4000,4200 and 5200.  Good link below which also has some other thinks within the thread.  For anyone who is using in future.
