Vessel view and custom lexan panel

I decided to make a custom lexan panel for the vessel view I was installing.  I also made templates of all the dash pieces, I may offer them to members soon if there is interest.  Either way, I am ultimately going to hydro print the panels but I decided to just paint them to match for now till all the other panels are in.

    The screw holes will be recessed and painted black once i find the screws.  Home Depot did not carry any black screws here other than drywall screws.

    I like it. Is that just a brownish paint that you used? I covered my GPS hole with some cherry wood and then mounted my tablet but I really don't like the way it looks.

    Home Depot carries a reddish / burgundy plastic primer.  I rear coated the Lexan with it which is an almost perfect match to the factory panels burl wood color.  I will post a photo of the can tomorrow.

    Looks great! How did you get vessel view 4 to work with 2003 engines?

    Liberty- My engines/boat is a 2002 and I have vesselview as well. I called Mercruiser with the engine serial number, they told me that mine JUST(by approx 300 engines!!) made it and it is SmartCraft capable.

    Oh, great. I plan to look in to this and wasnt sure if my 2006 350 MPI's would be capable. Good to know, thanks!
