What would cause short continuous alarm sounds?

When we coming back from a quick ride yesterday and entering the marina the boat started to sound off short but continuous alarm sounds (2 beeps-continuously).  What would be the cause of this?

Thank you for the info.  We have had such bad luck this year!  We just got our boat back this weekend after a break down on Memorial Weekend!  Our second time out this weekend and now we have another alarm sound-

Make sure the alarm is not your CO2 detector down below. Our first time out we had all of the canvas up except for the aft curtain. The door to down below was open. All of the sudden I heard beeps and was really bummed. Then we realized we were sucking exhaust in to the down below and it was the CO2 detector going off down below. Now we properly vent so that the "station wagon" effect does not  happen.

Rebecca, easiest thing to check is the drive reservoir tanks.  That tends to be the most frequent beeping.  Good luck.
