trim tabs on boat

please help have a 2002 Rinker 34 Fiesta vee. Please someone my starboard trim tab does not work. Where is the motor or any type of wires for it, can not find its not mounted on outside so perplexed

Are your tabs electric or hydraulic? If hydraulic check the fluid level.

Its probably a Lenco electric actuator and the motor is inside the actuator above the trim tab.

When you push the button for the bad tab look at your voltage meter. Does it drop significantly more than the one that works? If so, your wiring is fine but you need a new actuator. I needed to replace mine at the start of this season.

There's a similar one by Nauticus with a plastic plate and the actuators are covered in a rubber boot.

i have a 07 342 and mine dont work but he tabs lights are on.. mine are electric also...

There's probably a couple quick connects just inside the transom- follow the wires up from the actuators.  Disconnect them and use a volt meter to see if you're getting any voltage on the boat side connector when the switch is pushed at the helm.
