A few tablespoons of unscented bleach. Let it sit and flush out.Past owner of a 2003 342FV

I flush it constantly. Then I make sure every weekend I flush it. We use the tank instead of city hookup just to keep it fresh. We use the ice maker for our drinks, so I empty that out each week as well. I don't mind drinking the tank water, but we do take along a 5 gallon portable bag of water for long weekends on the hook. I can't say I've ever used bleach in my 14 years of boat ownership. (city water has enough stuff in it already)Dream 'Inn III -- 2008 400 Express
