Tight steering

Noise at the steering wheel and then tigh steering ?
any lube or grease points? Play in the steering not side to side but wheel feels loose. It is a tilt wheel.

Well figured out that on a 1993-99 rinker 280 if aft bathroom mirror is removed it exposes the back of the dash. You gain access to all of the Gage's and steering.
upon inspection I realized most of the screws on the steering mechanism are loose.
i will tighten everything up to see if I can feel improvement.
if not atleast I know how to get to the mechanism.
