genny and blowers and trim tabs not working.

hey guys i have a 2007 rinker 342 and i have a kohler genny and it wont start. EC72 code pops up... thoughts?  my blowers wont turn on but i have power to them and to all the switches... tif i make my own ground i can turn them on and off with no issues.... that being said i have power to my trim tabs but they dont move... am i missing fuses some where or is there bigger issues??

Are your blowers wired correctly to the fire extinguisher pressure switch? If so, check that you have full pressure. The blower ground goes thru the pressure switch.

to be honest i don't have a clue.. they go in to a bank ofwire that is wrapped in tape and then have wire covers... how do i check that or where?

Dan, its right on top of the extinguisher a 2 prong pressure switch. It also goes to the green light on dash.

ok im pretty sure the light is green when i was there on the weekend.

Well the wire could have fell off the switch

The connector on my 342 was either bad or undersized. It got HOT with the blowers on. I replaced it with crimp on type plugs. 

As noted: check the connections at the switch and the fire ext. I ran a new/independent wire from the switch to the fire ext switch. Had some weird stray voltage on the original wire.

@dan342 I attached the Kohler service manual start at page 31 shows how to troubleshoot the EC72 fault code.

trim tab issue was the main supply under the dash its fried. new one on way and he blowers were a loose connection above the fire extinguisher!!! thanks for that one @Handymans342  have the kohler dealer out at the boat all day workin on genny... looking like the "new" ecm they installed in the spring was ****.... stay tuned havent heard back from them yet.

all fixed! wasnt the ecm it was a burn wire leading to it by the exhaust. no cost! back at full throttle ready for the end of the season lol
