Need to replace the tubing throughout your boat for all your potable water first. You can get the tubing at West Marine and don't go for the cheaper version as you will have the same issue a few years down the road.

Do the water heaters also have a sacrificial anode? If they do and this goes you may have a sulphur smell.

Could it be "left over" anti-freeze from winterizing? Try flushing with a little bleach and keep flushing till the smell is gone.

When you use bleach let it sit in the lines for a day or two. Mine had a smell, once it sat with some bleach in the lines all was good.

Start with that anode. IMO, never put in RV anti-freeze in the hot water heater, just drain the tank (the heat exchanger from the engine needs AF if in the cold). Real pain to get that smell/taste out.
