What are you guys using for over the air antenna? Mounting on arch? What is the black booster box behind the tv connected to?

I don't have an arch.  I'm using a leaf hd antenna kept in the cabin...but I'm also in the middle of the big city that broadcasts all the major networks.

Also I rely on Hulu, Netflix ect...for most of my watching.

I just use the factory Shakespeare antenna. It gives me 30+ HD channels.

oh you mean the one in place. The rod? Ya wondering why im geting no channels when i hooked it up.,

jmichels - It works well for me in terms of getting local important stations...which I mostly watch the news and maybe some network golf.  Otherwise I'm on hulu.  I just have it on top of the TV cabinet in my 270 and it works just fine....again I am in the heart of Chicago less than 5 or 10 miles in either direction of where the broadcast is coming from.

If it's raining the reception can be spotty.

just checked it out and the factory antenna works! thank god.

Glad it works for you.

HDTV rides in the UHF band. Any antenna that is a VHF/UHF antenna will pick up the HD signals and pass them along. The antenna doesn't know if it is analog or digital. It is just passing the info to the TV.
