1988 fv250 with a 7.4 L 454 ???s

So I'm trying to figure out were I can fined on the motor it's self the serial numbers. And so u all no the tag is not really readable I really just want to fined out what yr it was built so I can see what  yr baot it could have bin swoped from. Any help would be great. Or did thy come with. 7.4L in them at one point I don't no if the color has any thing to do with it but mine is red. and I only ever seen one other red one that had the 7.4L 454 310 HP in her. All the other ones were blue color scheme and only had 5.7 L 350 260hp. I'm just trying to get some info if there's any out there more curious then any thing.

    Typically the block casting number is on the back of the block right behind the starboard side head. May be hard to get to.
    The serial number may be stamped in the deck surface right in front of the port side head. You can determine the year from the casting number. I do not know if the big block was original equipment in the '88.
