Picture perfect...

Please help! How or what has to be done to upload a picture here or on my profile? Computers ain't my thing... (Some of us just need to be spoon fed).

-          Go to User Control Panel, Click on ?Edit Profile?
-          Click on the Avatar / Profile Photo tab
-          Click on the Upload a File link

I have just tried to upload and I get "upload failed". I have tried a smaller jpeg pic but same results, Help please.
