Fuel gauge not working

Good morning, I have a 2011 with just over 100 hours. On startup this year, my fuel gauge is not working.

Any thoughts as to potential resolution.

Thanks!!

Check ground to the tank sending unit.

If it is a Faria gauge......try tapping on it when the key is turned on. Called the Faria tap. Works sometimes on the other gauges too.

What boat is it? If you disconnect the positive lead and ground it out, the gauge should go to full. If that is the case, the sender is bad. If it doesn't move, then the gauge is bad. Where are you located? Pittsburgh? Or just bleed black and gold?

Well it seems to be a sender unit. Slide up and down manually the gauge responds. When running it wants to show lower fuel level then hits right back up to full.

Cableguy Greg, I live an hour east of Toronto so yes I do bleed Bkack and Gold.

Thanks to all for your input.
