Repair chip on swim platform

I have a small 1/2 inch chip on my swim platform and wanted to repair it.  I bought MarineRX epoxy repair kit and wonder if this is the right product to repair the chip.

Sounds like just the gelcoat chipped off. Can you post a pic?

Definitely want to use Spectrum patch paste gel coat repair. They have your Rinker factory OEM color.

Gelcoat is what you want. Is the fibreglass chipped or just the white gel coat.
