Smelly A/C

Last couple times on the boat there is a a very sour/mildew smell that is coming from the A/C vent. I don't notice it when we first arrive on the boat and are setting up...seems to kick in after the system runs for a few hours. 

I pulled off the cushion in the aft bunk and the drip pan looks normal...a little bit of water but nothing terrible. Put a napkin in the water in the drip pan and there is no odor. That said I definitely can smell it through the vent under the front bunk. Anyone experience this before and have any suggestions on how to deal with this?

Admiral is is not happy ... Please help!!!

Try this stuff on the condensor. This is great stuff to clean the coils out, boat or home.  You can get it at Home Depot or on line too.  Spray on, rinse off.

Ugh!! Turns out the sulfur smell was coming from a bad battery, charger, or both. Looks like I'm going to be a dock queen this weekend.

yuck.  Hope just a battery.  If the battery is one of a pair (house as example) replace both or the old one will drag down the new one.

BD how often do you clean yours?

Every few years for the coils. Keep the air inlet filter helps a lot.
