Splash Day!!

T minus 1 hour and 25 minutes to splash. Heading out of the office shortly to get it ready, throw the muffs on for a test start and in the water. It is a beautiful 60 degrees and cloudy in central Illinois Doesn't look much better for the weekend. Last year we had been in for 6 weeks by this time but the flood screwed everything up. Maybe winter will be late coming to make up for this (yeah right).

Maybe we'll see ya on the water, trich. Got in last Sunday and we're just north of you at Detweiller. Going out tomorrow night for a chilly but dry dinner run. Nice to have the Illinois down to a manageable level, though I wouldn't mind if it stayed like it is now for the rest of the season!

All went well with the launch. Going to spend a couple of hours tonight checking the systems and then see what the weather does the rest of the weekend.
