Just purchased a 410 with Cumins Diesels. There is a button on the dash for "cruise1" and "cruise2" is there a manual or description available on how this function works and how it's programmed?
Cummins apparently has a thing called "C-Cruise" ...
"QSM11 is also available with an optional marine electronic package called C Cruise that, among other things, features the only marine cruise control in the industry. The automotive-like cruise control lets you set/resume cruising or trolling speeds as well as increase engine speeds in as little as 25 rpm increments. Other C Cruise options include alternate/custom low idle speed control; engine synchronization for twin-engine applications; interactive digital engine data displays; backup throttles; prognostics and diagnostics."
Vesselview also has the cruise control. There are several different ramp up graphs you can use. Set it, and the boat will accelerate automatically up to the cruising speed desired using the acceleration graph chosen. I have yet to actually use it on mine, I guess I should try it (not really keen on auto acceleration).
