Help on power issue

2004 342. Anchor light wasn't working, got to wiring in the radar arch. Put a meter on the power and ground,would quickly showa reading then back to 0, couldn't get a steady reading. Tapped into one of the lights on the arch, connected the anchor light and it worked. Killed helm breaker and wired the anchor light into overhead light, turned helm breaker back on... now neither the overhead nor the anchor light are working... what the heck? Checked breakers at helm, in the aft battery switch compartment and the main cabin panel above the stove down below, nothing popped. Any ideas? Is there a breaker somewhere I am missing?

    I fixed it and wanted to share, someone spliced the ground wire to this whole run, in the course of working on it the splice came loose so I wasn't getting good ground, redid the splice and everything works. Should have known from experience these issues related to a ground issue a lot of times. Happy boating!
