Trailering 270 question.

In TX here, and apparently the 270 is just a bit wider than what is allowed without a permit.  Any of you pull anyway without a permit or in TX, what does getting a permit consist of?

    If you are a BoatUS member, Mercury Permits gives a discount to members for the permits. Legally, yes you should get permits. If you have an accident, then you would be in a world of trouble. I have pulled my 280EC without them, but when I pulled her from Baltimore to Pittsburgh, I had them in hand.
