Hi I just purchased a 2015 290 EC
I was wondering do the refrigerators work when not connected to shore power?

Yes. They run off the batteries.

Really nice boat. I know a couple who bought a 2014 with the 8.2 Magnum. They had to put it up for sale at www.lenscove.com

Right - when you disconnect shore power the fridge should auto convert to run off of your house batteries.

Thanks a lot for the help guys. Had it a week today learned quick to open the door attached to the engine hatch. Had to straighten out the hinge this week. luckily I didn't crack the fiber glass.
