I have a 2006 390 with 8.1 Volvo can anyone tell does the trim for the drives come off the port steering pump I have a vibration when I turn on the port side only

The trim for the drives are stand alone pump and hydraulics. Their is one for each drive.

At the back of the transom. You will see A black pump with a semi-clear reservoir attached to it,with a slightly colored fluid in it.

Yeah as MT said. On my 342 its up on the back of the transom in the engine compartment. Easy to find....

@Dan....OhOh...hope you can reach them! Maybe someone on this forum has done the R&R and can offer tips to ease the task? maybe if you search the forum archives?
