Spark plugs Wires

Hi,
Just being curious about how often you guys replace the spark plugs wires. How many hours or years ?

Paul I go by the condition of the covering. First sign of hardening or cracks gone. I don't think I have gone over 5 years before replacing....but that was with older boats. Newer set-ups are more robust. I used to disconnect one to (gently) examine its flexibility. If it felt stiff, adios!

if the boat is new to you, then go ahead and start fresh. Otherwise you can use an Ohm meter and test each one to see if they are in range. ORRRRRR since you are taking them off to replace the plugs and dist cap, just go ahead and replace them as well. 75buks is cheap insurance
