I have a issue with my 2005 Fiesta Vee 300 port side motor charging ..

My starboard alternator is putting out 13.57 volts and so is the port side alternator. I only had 10.57 coming back to my battery switch. I replaced the switch and I am still losing voltage. When I start the engines the starboard gauge reads 13 and the port side only registers 11.5 .. Could I have a bad cable back to the switch.. some one told me that they have seen internal corrosion on these wires.

How good is your port battery to start with......

I installed all three batteries last year and they stood on trickle chargers all winter long in the basement of my house..

I would recommend that you check your port battery with a Hydrometer to start with if all cells are good then check all connections ground included. If everything is ok. What about the alternator output was it check......

Some of those gauges up on the helm act goofy, not accurate .  lose wire? bad gauge? are you have any problems?

get out the volt meter and check at the battery. only then will you know if you are having a problem
