Engine cover paint job

This project was done on a rainy day. Removed the stickers with a hair dryer and reapplied with 3m adhesive spray. I could have bought stickers at $16 a set on ebay but I was trying to keep the project at a low cost. Used 400 grit sand paper to rough up the surface and cleaned it with Acetone. Used Plastic Primer (3 coats) and sun yellow plastic spray (as many coats as you need). The key was to build the coats to achieve a great even look. I used the whole can and probably did 4 or 5 coats. Took about a Football game to complete. Total cost was about 12 bucks.

Awesome. Such talented guys on this forum! We should publish a book of mods and sell it.
All you need now is a stainless steel cover on the inside of that hatch cover to reflect those engines and some yellow LED lights for at night! Oh yeah!!!!!!
