Well, see where the current path of the storm, per google earth I'm 23 miles due east inland. That's a real bummer. I'm on a trailer at a pretty good place dry storage but outside. My last boat in 04 was in the garage.....

The last time we had a hurricane up here I took my boat to a storage place about 25 miles from the coast and used long straps and six 4ft steel spikes drivin into the ground to strap the whole thing down. That far inland I wasn't worried about surge, but I was worried that 130 mph winds could blow the boat right over on it's side. The tall sides on Rinkers are great for space but they are big sail in anything over 15kts wind.
