American Dollar - Canadian Boats

The American dollar is now VERY competitive in Canada. For example I know of a 2012 Rinker EC 360 for sale (Google Rinker 360 on Yachtworld) that has 8.2 Mags, Axius, and many other options. It was purchased from the same dealer as mine and the guy treated and maintained it very well. I have been on it. He's asking 158K American but I'd offer 140K American - or less. That boat does not have the full hard top like mine but I am 99.9% sure it has the arch that folds down, making shipping it a breeze. Of course there are a lot of Rinkers for sale in the central Canada area that are very favorable given the strength of the American dollar! Christmas shopping, guys!

@randy56 It's a Rinker EC 360. In 2012, without a trade it ,should have been near USD 255K.

@Michael T thanks had no idea, $6800 per ft, that would sure eliminate, all the rat hole moneys laying around. perhaps have to dig up some ball jars. Give up smoking, ah lot of doe to float !

@randy56, yes I agree 100% those big Rinkers are quite expensive. One look at Yachtworld or Boat Trader Ontario though and there are a LOT of those big girls for sale. IF - anyone on the forum is looking for one the American dollar goes a LONG way at the moment in Canada! There are also a number of  Rinker 270s and up for sale. I lost count a long time ago of the number of American haulers heading for the States with CDN boats on them. Win-Win for all of us!
