bigmike Member Posts: 9 ✭yes, I got it out, friends told me not to bother repairing, it wont last, I am a welder by trade, I would go to aluminium if I had to get one made, can we not order one from Rinker. I have written to a local Dealer here in Ottawa, they just double the price

Do it all the time! I would think Rinker still carries the size you need. If you are having a problem making contact at Rinker e.mail @wheatst for some help. He's a great guy! At one time jet Technologies made a lot of parts for Rinker.

pault1216 Member Posts: 206 ✭✭✭Whatever you do...don't use aluminum. The tank contents will corrode over time and leak. If the tank is almost 15 years old and out of the boat, I'd replace it. Replacing hoses could be a consideration also...and don't use cheap hose...not worth the smell. Good luck-Paul

Measure your tank, establish where you want the hoses, and order on the internet. I replaced an aluminum holding tank with one of these Todd tanks in a '94 Celebrity because the aluminum failed. Get nipple kits from any marine supply, use teflon tape and fresh hoses.
