Man I miss you guys, this forum is one of a kind the participation is like none other, and you guys are truly like family here always participating, I feel so lonely LOL

    Glad to hear your well. This forum is growing by the day. Sometimes there are disagreements but its still pretty much the same as before. The nice thing now is that Rinker is involved with it. Game the Mod's more responsibility in controlling it. More work but makes it better....LOL Stop in anytime. You are always welcome here for sure...........

    Dream_Inn Remember my boating season is year-round I love Florida LOL but so far it’s been fun, the only negative has been my exhaust strap brock but caught it in time bilge pump works well

    I had one of my clamps rusting this year as well and just replaced them all.  I think it was starting to leak a little, at least there were some slight water marks along it.

    I did the same 32 of them, some were so bad that when I went to loosen them they just brock, previous owner used cheep strap 70s not the 300 stainless steel its calls for

    @luckydog, Questions? How old is that boat? already replaced all hose clamps twice, is it the salty environment?

    It’s a 2006, the manifolds and risers were replaced 3 years ago but the clamps used were cheep ones not meant for boats

    True dat....left the family- JK- I'm pretty happy with my boat. I have had merc on three boats and the fiberglass- for the money a great value and design. Maybe the newer are more of a level layout etc. But in the 05 range I was sold on the 270. For what my needs and boat b$$$s can handle.

    It was a much needed vacation for the admiral and myself. Fortunately I have family over there so I didn't have to pay for a room. Only had to worry about airfare and spending money.

    It is awesome!!! It is like being in South Florida, minus all of the green vegetation. They had nice beaches and the cars were sick. The weather was 90+ every day and not a cloud in the sky. Pretty much everyone spoke English, which made it easy to get around. The city was also very safe. Dubai was a larger city than Abu Dhabi. We spent two days there. I actually went snow skiing while in Dubai. I laughed the entire time while skiing.

    I heard about that indoor ski place. Pretty wild.
    I have been asked to visit the Cleveland clinic out there many times now for work but always turn it down. Maybe I need to get over this arid desert perception I have and check it out.

    I remember seeing pictures of that indoor skiing place when it was built thinking that would be really neat to do.  Definitely wasn't huge as far as a hill for skiing, but for indoors it is enormous!  Nice to get some info like this!
