I knew this discussion would turn to booze real quick. My favorite snack is hard boiled eggs for the morning and green tea(helps with the hang over), cheese/sausage/crackers in afternoon with some homemade salsa from the admiral's garden.
For the booze, ice ice cold Miller Lite for summer. Guinness for the fall. Rum if its time to party. Actually, I will drink anything if its time to party.
If we are talking food only, even though depending on what i mix rum with it could be considered food, than i would say my wife's homeade salsa and guac. Although i chase the kids around with carpet cleaner as soon as it comes out....
That is one mean looking Bloody Mary bry1429 wouldn't eat for a week! My favorite is my Admirals star dip made with cheese, mayo, chilis, hot sauce, garlic. and olives with tortilla chips.. mmmmm
Pudding shots are pretty good. Mix 1 cup rumchatta ,1 cup milk, 1 4 oz box chocolate or vanilla instant pudding. Once mixed then slowly mix one container of cool whip in and refrigerate. Literally takes 5 minutes and they taste like dessert.
My wife has several pudding shot recipes. We freeze them after they're made. Since the move our big freezer has been out of commission. Hope to be back in production next season.
Oh man Randy! I hope they have one meeting to go to for all of the above!
That pudding shot has me thinking about looking in the pantry to see if there is a pudding packet in there for the kids. I'm at home for the weekend with wife and kids back in Ohio. Hmmmm.....again, I think I could select E. for all of above
It is a sad time of year to have the boat put up. But a good time to spend with family. Sunday were have the kids and grand kids over for Lasagna and watching, football. And I had my wife pick up some Crunch N Munch. hahaha never had it. next we will have to try pudding shots.
My go to snack on the boat is Snyder's of Hanover snap pretzels and roasted red pepper hummus. The pretzels are bite size and the don't make a mess. I also keep a variety of Johnsonville brats (Stadium, Cheddar) in the freezer. They are easy to grill up and have a better taste than good old hot dogs.

But I'm on the wagon these days (Dr. orders) so now it's a mix of pretzels and dried pineapple.
