Last day on the Delaware river. Curious to see how the outdrive and bottom held up!

After a lengthy and meticulous refurb of my 270's below the water line items(pics in my discussions) , I'm anticipating no surprises. .  Drive and bottom along with tab actuators should be protected with the new mercathode and anodes.  I went with magnesium.  Most around here go with alum ...and that info i discovered after the magnesium install.  The opinion was that i should be fine.   I will wash the bottom after the haulout. Bottom was painted with act with slimeguard.  Ive floated around the boat a few times and it seemed the minor growth simply rubbed off with no effort.... Along with a little of the paint naturally.   One question tho, i purchased a little oxalic acid and,in a spray bottle, i tested on the hull when i purchased the boat. It Removed the brown scum line just fine, is there any issue with using on the drive?  Drive is simply phantom black.
